BSK DESIGN AT CHROMA
Ten years ago, I came to a fork in the road and let go of my life as a physical therapist and started an incredible journey as an artist. I first delved into ceramics, and then discovered the magic of glass.
My mother was a very contemporary architect, and her love of simple designs and vibrant color has influenced me greatly. I am coming home full circle as I pursue the wonders of glass in architectural elements. I create a unique line of affordable dichroic glass jewelry, design fused glass plates that are functional as well as pieces of art, create indoor and outdoor sculpture that combine metal and glass, and now am delving into the world of architectural elements, such as home lighting, handrails, wall installations that divide living space and much more.
My journey continues to intrigue me. I see glass as having its own inner destiny, and my role as the artist is to discover that destiny, respect it, and partner with it to make its reality come true.
